Cinelli: Performance & Design

Cinelli was founded in 1947 by Cino Cinelli, a former professional cyclist who won the Milan-San Remo race in 1943.

Cino invented the first saddle with a plastic shell, the Unicanitor, and built the legendary Supercorsa frame, a true cult object of the period (still in production today). In the 1980s Cinelli produced the revolutionary Laser.

Today, Cinelli produces performance equipment (for road, gravel, track & touring) with a contemporary urban attitude and Milanese design language.

We welcome you to the Cinelli family - Ciao!

Cinelli Cap

With its first designs in the early 1970s, the Cinelli cap has grown into an international icon of “il grande ciclismo”.

Since the very beginning, the cycling cap has been a highly recognisable sign of belonging to the cycling culture. Later came the swag, from Coppi, to Merckx, from De Vlaeminck to Hinault and Induráin.

In a more recent era, the cycling cap has been adopted not only by 'roadies', but also by the fresh urban cycling tribes, led by the cycling messengers.

In the cross-pollination between street and cycling culture, the cap stands as a clear statement on the head of these New Cycling enthusiasts. The Cinelli cap is a globally recognised symbol of an alternative, poetic and romantic attitude towards cycling.

The cycling cap is a perfect accessory on or off the bike. An extra layer of protection under your helmet on cooler days, it also keeps the sun and sweat out of your eyes on intense summer rides.
