Building Industry Consultative Council

The Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC) is an advisory group established by the Victorian Government in 2001.  It has representatives from client and employer groups, trade unions, individual employers and government.  Its objective is:

"to promote an environment that will stimulate building activity and jobs growth in Victoria."

The BICC aims to foster harmonious working relations, promote cultural change, facilitate investment and promote best practice in the Victorian building construction industry. It does this through a cooperative and collaborative approach.

As a tripartite forum the BICC is unique within the building industry in Victoria and an opportunity to carry debate to a strategic level that contributes positively to the industry of the future and Victoria's prosperity.
